Other features: American/Japanese decent and looks Japanese. In fox form he is reddish brown and the size of a large cat with yellow eyes. Despite his mother being Japanese he does not speak the language and his mother speaks only basic Japanese because she has lived most of her life in America.

Costume: A skintight black outfit, with black boots.

Personality: Hesitant around strangers, shy and cautious, though he's friendly and playful when with friends. Being part fox leaves William with a dislike of confrontation. He will try to avoid fighting until absolutely necessary. He prefers to lead an enemy into a trap rather then get into a fist fight. He is not a strong hand-to-hand fighter, he is more agile then most because he's taken ballet, but is not a fighter.

Weakness: William is still young and as such cannot control his powers as well as he will eventually be able to. He is able to cast large area covering illusions that an individual can taste, hear, and smell but an illusion of such size drains him of power fast and he can only hold it for an hour. Smaller illusions can be held for longer but he eventually weakens as he does with larger illusions. (Example: A ‘sight’ illusion like invisibility will use very little energy but an illusion like a giant wolf [which must be felt, heard, and smelt] will take much more energy.) He can not take loose clothing into shift yet which is why he wears his skintight black outfit and a pouch on his ankle with emergency money and a spare house key. He has, through hours of trying, learned to take his boots into shift. He is still a little naïve and possibly too trusting.

History: William Roberts was born to Keiko Lee and John Roberts. Keiko is a fox spirit and immigrated into America with her parents over a hundred years ago but has only been able to shift into human form for the last thirty years as a fox must be a hundred before they gain such powers. She and her parents lived among humans while she learned to control her shifting powers. While she attended high school she met and dated John Roberts who she married after college. William was born a year later, his parents discovered he could shift to fox-form when he was three. His powers coming to him at such a young age are contributed to his half human status and he has been trained to harness and control his powers his entire life. Aside from his powers William is a typical American teen. His father writes fantasy novels and his mother illustrates for his father and several children's books.
